Holistic Support for
End-of-Life Planning and Care
What is a Death Doula?
A Death Doula is a trained, non-medical professional who provides emotional, practical, educational, and spiritual support for individuals and their loved ones as they navigate the end-of-life journey. Working alongside families and healthcare providers, a death doula helps ensure that each person’s wishes, values, and goals remain at the center of their care.
Every experience with serious illness, dying, and grief is unique. A death doula offers a compassionate, steady presence while helping individuals and families navigate difficult conversations, explore end-of-life wishes, create meaningful legacies, and find support through each stage of their journey.
Death doulas do not replace medical providers, hospice, or palliative care. Instead, they complete the care team by providing personalized, holistic support.
“I believe no one should have to navigate death and dying alone.”
Who Am I?
As a certified death doula and hospice nurse, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families during one of life’s most sacred transitions. I provide holistic, non-medical support tailored to each individual’s unique needs, values, and wishes, whether they are planning ahead, living with serious illness, supporting a loved one, or approaching the end-of-life. As a non-medical member of the care team, I work alongside families and healthcare providers to help individuals feel more informed, prepared, and empowered throughout the end-of-life process.
Wherever you are on the journey, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Let’s begin the conversation.
